Curriculum Vitae

Welcome to St. Edward the Confessor Parish School 3rd Grade! My name is Krystal McCormick and I'm excited to begin my 11th year teaching at St. Edward. 

 

Being born and raised in Orange County I always knew I wanted to hopefully live in this beautiful place, but when I graduated from Santa Margarita High School I wanted to explore the East Coast. I attended Northeastern University in Boston, where I studied Human Services, and fell in love with teaching. During my senior year internship I worked with a nonprofit organization called Peace Games. During this internship I worked to implement conflict-resolution curriculum in high risk elementary schools. 

 

After graduating I came back to Orange County to complete a teaching credential and Masters in Education program at Concordia University. 

 

During my first year teaching at St. Edward I married my husband at our beautiful church, and now our two children attend the school. I am so blessed to continue to be a part of this amazing community.
