This December, the Preschool, TYKE, Kindergarten, and First Grade classes are teaming up for a stewardship project hosting a drive to provide Christmas decorations and gifts to each of the current residents of Casa Teresa in Santa Ana. “Deeply rooted in the Orange County community, Casa Teresa provides pregnant women in crisis a loving home to begin their healing journey. With a trusted and compassionate team of professionals and a proven residential program, we empower pregnant women in learning lifelong skills to end cycles of homelessness, abuse, and addiction; regain control of their futures; and create families that thrive.” For more information on this truly amazing place, please visit their website at www.casateresa.org.
Each grade level will be assigned a resident and family. The links to each grade level’s assigned family’s Sign-up Genius are below. Some residents are expecting their first child and others have additional children as well, so each grade level’s Sign-up Genius will be a bit different. Please bring unwrapped items to your child’s grade level religion (Preschool will go to Mrs. Lavigne and TYKE/Kinder will go to Mrs. Hunt) classroom to be placed in a basket that will be personalized for each resident/family by Thursday December 6th. Some of our upper school learners will be delivering the gifts and decorations to Casa Teresa on Friday December 7th. Thank you so much for your generosity and support of our stewardship ministry.
