We understand morning drop off and afternoon pick up can be hectic and stressful. While we are always learning, there is a method to the madness and we are asking for your cooperation and making a plea to be mindful of your driving in the neighborhood as well as in our parking lot. We have a very active church and school community located in a residential area. We have worked with the city and listened to parent and parishioner feedback over the years to try to find the best system for school drop off and pick up procedures. Just a few reminders:
- Please watch your speed in both the neighborhood and within our parking lot. The installation of additional speed bumps does not sound appealing.
- Please remember there are now two lanes to go through the drop off line. We realize the turn back by the ball wall is very tight, especially for larger vehicles, therefore temporarily merge to one lane once you get past the flowered walkway. Once the turn is made, please resume the two lane drop off.
- Please refrain from parking in the neighborhood to either walk your child onto the school grounds or pick them up after school. If you want or need to walk your child into the school, please park in the parking lot.
- Please be considerate of others who need to merge or change lanes when entering the parking lot. Not everyone entering the parking lot is getting in the line to drop off, some need to park their car. Be careful of drivers making sudden stops.
